Monkleigh Mill in Devon is highly praised for its cleanliness, peaceful setting, and welcoming hosts. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and additional features like a hot tub. The property offers a relaxing environment with beautiful views and a variety of wildlife. Some guests noted difficulty in finding the property and narrow access roads, but overall experiences were very positive.
The property consistently receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews mentioning it being well equipped and very clean. Only one review mentioned a fly infestation, which seemed to be an isolated incident.
The location is described as peaceful and relaxing, with beautiful countryside views. However, some guests found the property difficult to locate and the access roads narrow, which slightly impacted the score.
Guests find the bedrooms cool and comfortable, and the property spacious. Some guests noted the sofas were not very comfortable and one mentioned a preference for separate beds for children, which suggests room for improvement in comfort.
Facilities are generally praised, especially the kitchen and hot tub. There were minor issues such as a missing TV remote and occasional poor internet strength, but overall, guests were satisfied with the facilities and maintenance.
While guests have mentioned receiving a warm welcome and some supplies upon arrival, there are not enough consistent references to gifts or special touches to accurately score thoughtfulness. It should be noted that any gifts received are a kind gesture and not guaranteed.

Hot tub is perfect after a day out . Nice to have some supplies waiting and proper kitchen equipment. The lanes are small but never met any other traffic so not a problem and only a few minutes away from civilisation for shopping
Debbie
The hot tub is one of the best we have used and is extremely clean and well maintained. Lots to see locally so a perfect stay.
