Very nice clean and comfortable lodge, two complaints that cottages.com should rectify in their details. They describe kitchen has fridge/freezer what it should read is very small fridge and ice box. Secondly, no actual dog walking area and dogs to be kept on leads. Also would have been told how big the park is, 86 lodges, hate to be there peak season.

Lovely lodge in quiet countryside full birdsong . Ideal if you don’t mind driving to places of interest and shops. Even during a heatwave we stayed cool on the verandah or moved indoors to take advantage of the fan. The rooms were nicely furnished and comfy bed. The kitchen is well equipped and I would’ve awarded 5 stars if the oven and pizza pans had been clean. Also, a small mat in the bedroom was full of dog hair from previous occupant. Otherwise, a great place to stay if you like peaceful surroundings and a little distance from neighbours. The dog loved it too! Welcome treats were a nice touch.
