Please note that due to the elevated lodge positions of Kingfisher and Woodpecker they are accessed on foot from the parking area via approximately 20 steps and internally there is a steep staircase. Please therefore do not book this lodge if you have mobility issues.. Bulworthy Forest Lodges is tucked away down a picturesque tree-lined drive leading to Bulworthy Forest in heavenly North Devon. Nestling in 25 acres of woodland teeming with flora and fauna, and boasting four recreational fishing lakes, this is the consummate setting for escaping to the country and losing yourself in perfect peace and good old-fashioned family fun.

Facilities
A car is advisable to make the most of your holiday.
Wifi service in the area is not consistent nor particularly fast, and hence the service cannot be guaranteed. It is usually sufficient for picking up emails etc but not for streaming films etc. It is sometimes necessary to move around to pick up a signal.
Please note that due to the elevated lodge positions of Kingfisher and Woodpecker they are accessed on foot from the parking area via approximately 20 steps and internally there is a steep staircase. Please therefore do not book this lodge if you have mobility issues.

Cosy and well equipped lodge, as long as you don't mind the steps up to it. But we knew about these before booking and we were fine with it. Plenty of privacy and quiet. The only thing we thought of was maybe a small table on the balcony for resting drinks while relaxing there.

We had a wonderful stay and couldnt have asked for a better location. The property was exactly as described peaceful, private, and surrounded by beautiful scenery, making it the perfect place to relax and switch off. The area itself was stunning, with plenty to explore nearby while still feeling secluded and quiet. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and very well looked after, with everything we needed for our stay. From the moment we arrived, the host was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, always happy to answer any questions and offer recommendations for the local area. We especially appreciated how private and tranquil everything felt, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a lovely setting. We would happily return in the future.

Wow the lodge was absolutely great we stayed in woodpecker it was so peaceful no noise from traffic just the tweeting of the birds and we had a few birds visit each day especially a robin we also enjoyed having the hot tub. The only thing I would say is that the stairs to the bedroom are designed like boat steps so you need to be cautious when going up and down them and there are alot of steps leading up to the lodge. We would definitely visit bulworthy forest again. Thankyou for a great visit
