Hornbeam Lodge, like Heron and Snowdrop, is perfect for all year-round holidays in this glorious part of Devon. This brand-new stylish lodge sleeps up to six guests in three spacious and comfortable bedrooms.

The whole family can enjoy Hornbeam Lodge with space for everyone. As well as a stunning master bedroom with luxurious ensuite bathroom, the lodge also has a double and twin bedroom, and a large spacious family bathroom.

The stunning living space is modern, bright and airy, with views out over woodland and Roadford Lake. Furnished and equipped to the highest standards, the lodge offers modern comfort and space for a couple, a family or friends to enjoy. Children are very welcome and a high chair and travel cot are available for family guests to use. Equally welcome is a well-behaved family dog, with water and food bowls in the lodge if needed.

Hornbeam Lodge, with its private parking for two cars, large patio and private hot tub, is nestled in a spacious spot in the exclusive gated Roadford Lake Lodges Park, surrounded by professionally landscaped gardens. Hornbeam, like all our lodges, is just a couple of minutes’ walk away from the Park’s great amenities, such as the gymnasium, the dog wash and the EV charging bay.

And equally close is the spectacular Roadford Lake, with its woodland bursting with birds and wildlife. Woodland trails, the Roadford Lake Café and the amazing craft designed children’s play area are all on your doorstep.

Living area

This elegant room features two large sofas, a coffee table, flame effect electric fire, two standing lamps, Smart TV and Juice Soundbar

Different lighting options set the mood for cosy evenings in, and a variety of games, playing cards and books are in the sideboard to help you enjoy relaxing afternoons or evenings

Kitchen

The beautiful modern kitchen is open plan with the living / dining area and has a large electric range oven, five-ringed gas hob, microwave oven, toaster, kettle and all the pans, dishes and utensils you need

There's a modern fitted dishwasher and washing machine, together with a fridge, freezer and wine fridge. Also provided are a teapot, a cafetiere and a moka express stovetop coffee maker

The lodge provides a full range of crockery and cutlery, and plastic ‘glasses’ for enjoying a drink outside. Plastic baby plates, cups and cutlery are also available, as well as a dog bowl

*An iron and ironing board can be found in the Master Bedroom's wardrobe

Dining

In the dining room a large extendable dining table and comfy chairs allows you to seat up to eight comfortably for a meal with family or friends

This beautiful master suite has a king size-bed, with two bedside tables and lamps, and fitted cupboards

This bedroom has a lovely ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower, electric towel rail, lighted cabinet mirror and under sink cabinet

Bedroom Two

With views across woodland and the lake, a second double room has a double bed, two bedside tables and lamps

It has plenty of storage and hanging space in the fitted wardrobes. A wall-mounted Smart TV and remote-control tower fan are provided for your relaxation and comfort

Bedroom Three

The third bedroom, also enjoying views across the woodland and lake, has two single twin beds each with its own bedside table and lamp

As with the other rooms there is plenty of storage and hanging space in the fitted wardrobes

This bedroom also has a wall mounted Smart TV and remote-control tower fan

*The property's highchair and travel cot are stowed in the fitted wardrobe

Bath and hand towels are provided, and when booking, guests can order a spa pack of towelling robes and slippers to have the full hot tub spa experience

Family Bathroom

Across the hall from the double and twin bedrooms is the large, spacious family bathroom with a large family bath and shower attachment, extensive fitted cupboards, and a large electric towel rail, basin, cabinet with lighted mirror and WC

Bathroom Two

Leading from the bedroom is the lovely ensuite bathroom with a glorious walk-in shower.

Fitted with an electric towel rail, hand basin, WC, lighted cabinet mirror and under sink cabinet, plenty of hanging space and storage

Outside

The large south facing patio runs the full length of the lodge and is opened onto by sliding patio doors from the dining room and the master bedroom

Furnished with outdoor chairs, tables, parasol and BBQ

The BBQ stand can fit two disposable BBQs at a time and BBQ utensils are provided

The hot tub is heated all year round and has a wooden panelling surround to ensure privacy

Parking

Hornbeams private double-parking bay is conveniently located close to the front door of the lodge

There are a limited number of additional visitor parking spaces outside reception, on a first come first serve basis

EV Charger Point

The site has two EV charging points for guest use, situated along from reception in two designated parking spaces

The EV charging point is by VendElectric, and charging will have associated costs as normal via their app

We kindly ask that once your vehicle is charged, that you park in your lodge car parking space to ensure the EV spaces are free for other guests on the site
