About this property

The caravan is modern and spacious with double glazing and central heating which means it can be used all year round, the living area has "L shaped" seating with plenty of room for six.

There is a Freeview T.V. with DVD player with a selection of DVD's, books and board games for stay-in days , in addition to the central heating there is a built in electric fire.

The kitchen is fully equipped with 4 burner stove,oven and grill, large fridge freezer, microwave and toaster also a full range of cooking utensils, pots, pans etc.

The large bedroom has a double bed and plenty of wardrobes and drawers, the smaller bedroom has 2 singles and a wardrobe/drawers, there is also a pull out double bed in living area, there are duvets and pillows for all the beds and all bed linen included, you will have to bring your own towels as we do not supply these.

The bathroom has a large shower with heated towel rail, sink and toilet. There is also a cot and highchair if needed.

We welcome free of charge up to two dogs, but not on the furniture/beds please(Dog bowls provided). Outside there is an enclosed decking area with seating and a table for six, and a bike store should you wish to bring your own bikes.

WiFi can be purchased from the shop on site. No smoking in the caravan only on the decking please.

Great Torrington is an unspoilt town built on high ground above the River Torridge, and is a fifteen minute drive from the spectacular North Devon coast at Westward Ho! Another leading tourist attraction is Dartington Crystal where visitors can see craftsmen blowing and shaping glass, follow the history of glassmaking and buy some beautiful pieces. The town has a good selection of individual shops, a friendly atmosphere, and some good inns. About a mile from Great Torrington is the spectacular RHS Rosemoor Gardens with arboretum and herbaceous borders in a breathtaking setting by the River Torridge. There are many villages to visit on the North Devon coast including picturesque Clovelly built on a steep hillside above the sea, beautiful Appledore with it’s colourful fishermen’s cottages, famous Lynton and Lynmouth with the cliff-top railway, and Hartland Point with its breathtaking sea and coastal views. The diverse beaches of North Devon are not far away including; Westward Ho!, Instow, Saunton Sands, Woolacombe and Croyde, to name a few. Lundy Island, lying just 10 miles off the coast of North Devon is home to a fascinating array of birds and seals, and can be reached on Lundy's own boat from Bideford Quay. Great Torrington is a quiet, convenient base from which to explore North Devon, the Tarka Trail and the rolling Devon landscape.
