About this property

Orchard Lakes is a new small development spanning 15 acres in the heart of rural Devon. Resting in Devon's peaceful countryside on the outskirts of Winkleigh is this charming, lakeside lodge, Braeburn Lodge. Sleeping up to six guests with one well-behaved dog, the property is ideally located for a rural escape with your loved ones, with local amenities are within easy reach. Be greeted by off-road parking for two cars to unload your luggage, take in the fresh air and admire the idyllic location of Braeburn Lodge. A handy utility is located near the entrance to throw muddy clothes straight into the washing machine and store the essentials for your four-legged friend.

A beautifully-appointed, open-plan living area is a bright and airy space for socialising and spending quality time with your family; snuggle up on the leather seating in front of the electric fire on colder nights and enjoy a movie on the Smart TV. Why not open the patio doors during the summer months and let the fresh air in? You'll hear the sounds of nature and birdlife whilst you settle down with a cup of tea and a good book on the decking area with rattan furniture. A compact, well-equipped kitchen area hosts an island with a breakfast bar for two to keep the family chef company whilst they prepare an evening meal; an electric double oven and grill, gas hob and microwave can be found, alongside a convenient dishwasher.

Meals can be enjoyed at the dining table for six, whilst more outdoor furniture can be found on the lawn to dine alfresco in your gorgeous, countryside surroundings. As the sun sets over the lake, retreat to the family bathroom for a relaxing soak in the tub or a rinse in the shower, before retiring for the night; a king-size bedroom with a dressing table and an en-suite bathroom, along with two snug twin rooms, all have plenty of storage space for your holiday essentials. Choose Breaburn Lodge for a memorable holiday in the countryside. Note: This property can be booked with Ref.

Lovely place, nothing was too much trouble for the owners , recommended places to visit and eat in the local area Fishing was good and right next to lodge , evenings dark with no artificial lights , would stay again

The weather was rubbish but that did not detract from the whole experience
