This gorgeous single-floor retreat is located in the charming village of Yelverton, just a short half-mile stroll to nearby shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Nestled within the Dartmoor National Park, you’ll find easy access to some of Devon’s most awe-inspiring vistas, hiking trails, dog walks and cycling routes. Just a 5.5-mile drive away is the historic stannary market town of Tavistock offering its own unique charm and attractions including Buckland Abbey and the enchanting Garden House. Slightly further afield is Plymouth (9.5 miles) which offers a range of shops, restaurants, bars and many historical sites like the Hoe, the National Marine Museum and the Theatre Royal. Further south (17 miles) explore the tranquil sandy beach of Bovisands, and unwind along the sheltered bay located in the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
This unique holiday home is one of two suites in the property. Located on the ground floor, enter this beautiful single-level bolthole and kick off your shoes. To your right is a dining area and the room opens into a kitchen/lounge area. With a large sofa and armchair for unwinding, a TV and DVD player and a well-equipped kitchen, you can relax with ease after a long day exploring. Across the hall is the beautiful super-king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room with a divine rainfall shower, with stunning beams and exposed walls throughout the property.
Outside, there is access to a secluded garden, unfortunately dogs are not permitted in the garden. The good news is that there are great places nearby where they can be walked: a lane directly opposite the property and another lane behind us that leads to a field.
