Lovely rural location, accommodation comfy and very clean, well equipped. Big garden, dogs loved the space, and i loved the wildlife and the blackbird singing outside my bedroom window….supernice owners, kind and helpful. But don't tell everyone as i might want to stay again!

We enjoyed an extended long weekend break at Little Forda, the cottage is delightful, cosy, snug and equipped to a high standard. James and Nicky were the perfect hosts, both very knowledgeable on the local area. We visited several N.T properties nearby including Lydford gorge, Cotehele and Saltram. Will certainly return.

Gorgeous accommodation and really lovely hosts. We were really impressed by the facilities and especially how well equipped the kitchen is - air fryer and coffee machine (nespresso pods) are a fabulous touch. Loads to do within an hour’s drive - easy reach of Tintagel, Bude and more locally beautiful Tavistock and Lydford. There were only two small issues. Firstly that the advert didn’t make it clear that while dogs are welcome, they are not allowed upstairs - thankfully the sofa in the sitting room was an adequate and comfortable substitute for a bed so our dog with separation anxiety wasn’t alone, and secondly that the orchard, while delightfully pretty and a great space, could benefit from some sort of perimeter path to avoid wet trouser legs when it’s dewy or has been raining - it would minimise the amount of wet and leaves carried in on shoes too!Nevertheless, our memories of the trip are overwhelmingly positive and we’d like to thank James and Nicky for a lovely stay.
