For local amenities, the town of Okehampton is 7 miles away and has shops, pubs, supermarkets, restaurants, as well as a direct train link that runs to and from Exeter, enabling car free visits to the vibrant, historical city. With many walks available from the doorstep and close to the picturesque town of Chagford with great facilities such as cafes, restaurants, a public tennis court and an open-air swimming pool to enjoy at your leisure, this property offers a great touring base.

Enter the property on the first floor from the rear parking area and you’ll find the beautiful rustic kitchen/dining area complete with an oil Aga cooker. Up a couple more stairs you will find the first well-proportioned king-size bedroom with exposed beams and traditional furniture. Outside the property down a few steps from the lounge is a pretty outdoor seating area; set amidst the garden with a small lawn area this offers the perfect spot for enjoying the sun and dining alfresco. The surrounding fields are home to Dartmoor ponies in the summertime.
