After a busy day, head home for an evening under the stars from the comfort of your private hot tub.

Accessed via a small flight of steps, this bright and airy lodge is contemporary throughout with views of the surrounding landscape. With a well-appointed lounge and kitchen/diner, this is compact living at its best, and on warm summer days, the patio doors allow you to incorporate the decking area into your living space. Completing the accommodation are three light-filled bedrooms: one double with a TV and en-suite, and two twins with a separate bathroom. The utility room is a pleasant surprise with a washing machine for muddy clothes. Next door you will find a children’s area, which is perfect for those evenings when you don’t feel like cooking!

This gorgeous area of Devon has an abundance of natural beauty. Dartmoor is home to many charming towns/villages such as Chagford (home to the Chagstock Music Festival) and Moretonhampstead (within 16 miles). For something with the wow factor, head to the National Trust’s Lydford Gorge (7.5 miles) and Castle Drogo (14 miles), or perhaps stunning Becky Falls (21 miles), all of which will keep the little ones entertained. Exquisite dining can be found at Gidleigh Park (11 miles) and there is a variety of shopping and eating options in the city of Exeter (25.5 miles).

- The hot tub is emptied, cleaned and refilled for every booking, therefore, the water may not be up to temperature on the first evening
