Dartmoor is quite literally on the doorstep, situated at the foot of the Iron Age hillfort of White Tor, with miles of walks to be enjoyed. For those who prefer to explore on two wheels, rather than on foot, the Devon Cycle Network passes within one mile of the property, taking visitors all the way down to Plymouth. The town of Tavistock is just four miles from the property, offering a range of shops, restaurants, a theatre and a bustling market. Further afield, yet still within easy access, there are many more places of interest including Buckland Abbey, the 18th century Saltram manor house and the National Marine Aquarium.
This first floor studio style apartment is one of two apartments in this converted barn. The apartment is accessed via a set of external stone steps which lead to the front door. On entering the property, guests will find that the open-plan space has everything that they will need to make themselves at home. In the lounge area of the room, sofa seating allows guests to take advantage of the spectacular views, as well as to enjoy the Smart TV. The dining area has a table seating two, beyond which the kitchen area is equipped with an oven and hob, fridge with ice compartment, microwave and washing machine. The sleeping area has a king sized bed and bedside tables, and an adjacent en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC.
Outside, the property has a small private patio with seating. Guests also have access to the shared one acre garden, with outdoor furniture, which is a lovely place to sit out and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. There is covered bike storage available.
