Meader Barn in Devon is highly praised for its stunning location, cleanliness, and comfort. Guests appreciate the peacefulness, beautiful views, and direct access to moor walks. The property is described as spacious and well-equipped, with a warm welcome from the hosts. While the approach road is noted as rough, the charm and tranquillity of the cottage seem to more than compensate.

Reviewers consistently mention the property being spotlessly clean and well-maintained, indicating high standards of cleanliness that contribute significantly to the overall positive experience.

The property's location is frequently highlighted for its beautiful views and proximity to Dartmoor walks. Despite some comments about the rough access road, the peaceful and remote setting is greatly valued by guests.

Guests find the barn very comfortable, with special mentions of comfortable beds and a cosy atmosphere. The spaciousness and warmth of the property contribute to a relaxing stay.

Facilities are generally praised, especially the well-equipped kitchen and good-sized bathrooms. However, there are minor comments about the need for better seating in the garden and issues with the wood burner, which slightly affect the score.

Many reviewers express gratitude for the thoughtful touches like welcome gifts, though it's important to note that such extras, while appreciated, are not guaranteed for every stay.

It's so quiet and so peaceful, genuinely did not want to leave. The property has everything you need and it's beautifully presented, warm, cozy and comfy. I do hope we can go back one day.

The only thing we could possibly comment on is the steps in to the downstairs bedroom and bathroom could be highlighted in some way to make them more visible at night. The country lanes to access the property are very narrow but fine if you take it slowly.

The barn was very comfortable, spacious and had all amenities. Yes the approach to the barn is narrow and a bit rough in places but as long as you take your time it’s okay. We were able to walk straight onto Dartmoor and see the magnificent views around. Ellen, the owner, was very pleasant and friendly who made sure we were okay with everything. We certainly enjoyed our stay very much and so we will certainly be returning for another break in the not too distant future.
