The 18th century thatched Dorset Beach House, set on the pebbles of Chesil Beach some 150 metres from the sea, makes an ideal venue for family and larger holiday parties. The minimum lets are for 14 and maximum accommodation sleeps up to 20 in nine bedrooms, two of which are in a self-contained annex.
West Dorset is renowned for its choices of restaurants, local food and stunning scenery.The area is one of the very few UNESCO World Heritage Sites that is easily accessible to visitors. It is known as the Jurassic Coast for its geography covering some 185 million years and the richness of it's flora and fauna, on land and out to sea.
Bridport, a thriving and bustling market town is within easy walking distance and offers a wide choice of shopping possibilities as well as two street markets: one on Wednesday and a much larger one on Saturdays.
