Gillingham (5 miles) is also within easy reach and has a mainline train station and choice of supermarkets. Those wishing to travel slightly further afield will enjoy a trip to the Stourhead Estate (11 miles), which is in the care of the National Trust, Longleat Estate (21 miles) , Stonehenge (27 miles) or the Haynes Motor Museum (20 miles).
