Within driving distance are Dorset’s Jurassic Coast, Corfe Castle, Stonehenge, Longleat, Stourhead and numerous other places of interest.

Fantastic place to stay just outside Shaftesbury!. We had a wonderful time exploring the area then coming back to a cosy bungalow for the evenings that has amazing views. Edgecoobe has it's own garden that's safe for your four legged family members and even has a pony at the back fence who is happy to come see you, especially if you have apples or carrots.The bungalow has everything you could ask for and the owner is happy to answer any questions you may have, including places to eat or visit. All in all fantastic time had by all and will be happy to book again.

Had a lovely week in this cottage, it was cosy with everything we needed. It was nice to have 2 double beds in this bungalow as we had family pop down for a couple of days.Very central for travelling out and about but close enough to the town and supermarkets for easy shopping.Large garden for the dog to play in with patio set weather was amazing so we spent alot of time out there, watching the pony in the next field made it a dream come true if only for a week
