The cottage was in a good location to explore Dorset and Wiltshire. It is on a farm complex with other holiday cottages. Despite this it was very quiet in the evenings. Beds were clean and comfy and there was plenty of space in the bedrooms and living room/conservatory area. Showers were excellent. Slight negative was that the cottage itself was clean but a bit careworn. The TV could do with updating. The kitchen is a bit small and the equipment in it was well used and could do with replacing. Saying that, the owners lovely and were quick to respond to my request for some sharp knives and dropped off some new ones. All in all an excellent week and great value for money.

We are a family of 5 and had everything that we needed using the property as a base for Longleat, Poole and Monkey World as well as plenty of room for Board and Card games. If you are using the kitchen for family meals check first with owners that they have the necessary utensils or take your own to be on the safe side. Had a couple of issues which were resolved swiftly by the owners.
