This centrally located, terrace holiday cottage is in the heart of the market town of Wareham, but also benefits from a tucked away position. There are a wide variety of local shops, pubs and restaurants just a few yards away, and the cottage is also just a short drive to the Jurassic Coastline, the famous Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. The town of Swanage is a seaside town with a beautiful beach, boat trips, Durlston Country Park and steam railway. Monkey World and the Tank Museum are also very close by. The cottage is close to lovely walks, coastal trails and paths, as well as the Tour de Manche cycle route. Wareham Quay and river are less than 100 yards away. For golfers, a golf course can be found less than 1 mile away, although there are several others available within a 15-minute drive. Poole, Bournemouth, Swanage and Studland are all close by with their sandy beaches, perfect for a family day out. Beach 10 miles. Shops 40 yards, pub and restaurant 50 yards.

We really enjoyed our stay in Wareham at Tennay Cottage. It is one of the best equipped and cleanest cottages we have stayed in. We really appreciated the superb location right in the centre which made it very handy for popping to the shops or out for meals. We also really appreciated the generous welcome package. Would definitely be happy to stay again and we will recommend to friends and family!

Clean and comfortable and equipped to a high standard.Our problem was with privacy. The bedroom blinds had to be drawn at all times as it was a public right of way outside the window. One of the lounge windows overlooked other flats and smokers outside the social club looked in as we ate our dinner! Such a shame as everything inside was good.
