The Retreat was a beautiful, well equipped and comfortable cottage. Our only problem was the side window in the double window had a blind and no curtains. This meant we were woken up by light shining through the gap at the top and sides of the blind as it was set inside the recess rather than outside like the lounge blinds. Other than that it was perfect. Location was beautiful and really quiet but with easy access to local shops and pubs, restaurants and Lulworth Cove.

We enjoyed our stay at The Retreat, the cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed, the garden is steep but was no problem for us and the raised decking offered lovely views where we could sit and enjoy the evening sun. Great location for walking the Jurassic coast and good pub and shop within walking distance. The owner was helpful before our stay advising us on parking, we managed to squeeze in 2 small cars without incident! Overall a wonderful break and would stay again.
