The picturesque village of Charmouth makes a wonderful base for exploring Dorset s stunning Jurassic Coast. Charmouth Beach is just a mile away and is known as the best fossil hunting beach in the county. Nearby is the historic town of Lyme Regis (4 miles), famous for its links to Jane Austen and Henry Fielding. The town has plenty of great independent shops, pubs and restaurants as well as landmarks including the Cobb Harbour. Other places to explore along the coast include West Bay (8 miles), Hive Beach (9.5 miles) and Golden Cap (3 miles). Going inland you can visit the pretty town of Bridport (6.5 miles), explore Coney s Castle (4 miles) or climb Pilsdon Pen (6.5 miles). The house features three wings of split level accommodation. Steps lead up to the main hall where you can leave coats and boots. The bright and welcoming lounge is a lovely space for relaxing in, with plenty of seating, TV/DVD, a wood burner and sea views. A flight of stairs lead down to the final bedroom as well as a door to the parking area. Here you will find a further double with an en suite shower room with WC.
