A self-contained wing of the owners' beautiful thatched, Grade II listed farmhouse, dating back to 1780, set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, close to the tiny hamlet of Dottery, 1.5 miles from Bridport. Created from the former stable and hayloft of the farmhouse, this West Dorset cottage provides a wonderful and peaceful rural retreat for couples or a family. The well-appointed interior of this Dottery holiday cottage benefits from a cosy open plan living area, and two stylish bedrooms, both of which boast en-suite facilities and one with zip/link beds. Outside this Dottery holiday home is a private patio, or you may wish to take a scenic stroll along one of the nearby footpaths through the lush Marshwood Vale.

A short drive from this West Dorset holiday cottage is the thriving market town of Bridport, which is often featured in the River Cottage TV series, whilst nearby West Bay with its pretty harbour is well worth exploring.     Warm cosy cottage,home from home in a lovely area Surrounded by countryside but in easy access to all routes. Parking easy which is always a bonus and a pleasure to come back to after day out. Our second Christmas visit and back in two months,with probably a welcome from the dogs.
