The cottage location ,spacious rooms ,parking was good .The shower worked very well .There was a lack of essential equipment in the cottage and the cupboards and drawers were disorganised. There was a lot of clutter and the property felt a bit grubby .There were also a lot of “don’t do this “and “ do this signs “-which I found a bit much !The toaster was unbelievably old and dirty and only toasted 2 slices at a time .No oven gloves and no baking trays .Mattresses were uncomfortable and too small for the bed frames and there were no drawers in one of the bedrooms. My husband used his suitcase .The stair gate was a hazard for my mum to climb the stairs .The bathroom had some mould and a very old and mouldy shower screen visor .The T.V in the conservatory was temperamental and there was no parasol supplied -so we couldn’t sit outside in the heat .Needs a complete deep clean ,declutter and redecoration

Great holiday at The Roddy House very clean and tidy and well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, the conservatory was nice place to relax in the evening and the driveway parking was an added bonus, would definitely recommend and book for another stay.
