Visit Bridport (1.5 miles) and take a tour of the Palmers Brewery, which dates back to 1794. You might want to visit Symondsbury Estate (3 miles) to walk up Colmers Hill, which offers superb coastal views. Popular Lyme Regis (11 miles) is also well worth your time.
