Perfect for a family, 9 Maritime House is in a great location for your Jurassic coast holiday. Be welcomed into a amazing open-plan living space boasting everything you will need to make your stay convenient, beginning with a sitting area where a large L-shaped sofa offering a spot to recline and plan the day ahead of you, whilst the designated chef prepares lunch in the stylish wooden kitchen, before presenting it on the dining table. There are two bedrooms available within this property beginning with a spacious double with French windows opening up onto a balcony, storage and a handy en-suite shower-room. A bunk room offers the perfect place for children to relax, with baby blue walls and a TV, as well as access to the wonderful family bathroom where all guests can enjoy a soothing soak amongst the bubbles at the end of the day.

West Bay, fondly known as “The Gateway To The Dorset Jurassic Coast” and popularised by the TV series Broadchurch, lies close to the glorious sandstone cliffs of Golden Cap, at the western end of the dramatic pebbly Chesil Beach. This is a wonderful seaside location, perfect for family holidays, offering scenic walks along the South West Coastal Path, as well as ample opportunities to try your hand at sea fishing, golf, fossil hunting, boating. Visits the homes on Thomas Hardy and TE Lawrence, The Tank Museum at Bovington or the Naval Air Museum at Yeovil. Only 1.5 miles away is the vibrant market town of Bridport, featured in the TV series, River Cottage. The area holds plenty of attractions to suit the whole family! Just a short drive takes you to the picturesque seaside resort of Lyme Regis, the lovely sub-tropical gardens and swannery at Abbotsbury, or the golden sands of Weymouth. We arrived late evening and the welcome pack was particularly helpful. Itâs very clean, comfortable and we experienced no noise from other apartments. Parking arrangement works well. Wouldnât hesitate to go again. The only reason I didn't give cleanliness top score is that the windows were very stained by sea gulls of which there are many! Cleaner windows would be great but itâs not really a complaint.

It is a perfect location for us and has the added bonus of a lift and parking space - both of which are important for us. Inside is well presented and very clean. It has everything you need in the kitchen - except for egg cups!! We will definitely be back again and would recommend this apartment to anyone planning a trip to the area.
