Apple Tree Cottage in Burton Bradstock is a cosy and well-equipped property with a beautiful garden, situated in a picturesque village close to the beach. Guests appreciate the proximity to local pubs and the convenience of a nearby shop. The cottage's charm and location make it a popular choice for both dog owners and families, despite some concerns about maintenance and noise.
The cottage generally appears well-kept, with mentions of it being clean and comfortable. However, there are a few instances of guests noting issues with cleanliness, such as sticky floors and dusty rooms, which slightly lower the score.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to the beach, local amenities, and scenic walks. The presence of nearby pubs and a village shop adds to the convenience, making the location ideal for a holiday stay.
Guests find the cottage cosy and the garden lovely, but there are comments about uncomfortable beds and steep stairs. The comfort of the property is generally good, though these issues have led to a slightly reduced score.
Facilities are adequate with a well-equipped kitchen and secure garden for dogs. However, maintenance issues like problematic taps, shower controls, and a mention of an old dishwasher impact the score. The lack of Wi-Fi during one guest's stay also affects this rating.
While guests have mentioned a warm welcome with festive decorations and treats like mince pies and prosecco, there are not enough references to consistent thoughtful gestures or gifts to accurately score this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

On the downside, the bedrooms were extremely dusty and full of cobwebs and a limited amount of toilet roll to start off with could have been awkward!

Being dog walkers we found some great walks from the cottage but also got in the car to strike further afield. The cottage is comfortable and provided everything we needed.
