The ideal holiday destination for families, the cottage boasts an impressive open-plan living space which has a delightful sitting area and an elegant dining area with a patio door opening onto the outside terrace helping to create a real feeling of light and space. There is also an alternative area for relaxing in; an inviting snug complete with ample seating making it a great space for getting together and chilling out away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the house. The nautical blue kitchen is amply fitted with everything needed to cook delicious food for your holiday party and if the weather allows, then you can step onto the attractive patio area and enjoy some eating and drinking time alfresco. The magnificent terrace offers a wonderful space from which to enjoy the sights of Dorset and you can imagine spending many happy hours out here with family and loved ones really getting into the holiday spirit. As evening descends and the sun goes down, you’ll want to know where you are sleeping and there are three extremely well-appointed bedrooms to choose from including two doubles and a single. After a refreshing shower in the morning, you’re good to go and you’re ready to explore the delights of Dorset. The picturesque village of Charmouth is a short walk and is well worth a visit with the characterful town of Lyme Regis just a few miles away where you will find shops, bars, galleries and restaurants as well as a museum and aquarium and of course, a beach and a harbour and causeway. For days out in the region you’ll be spoilt for choice; if you like animals then pay a visit to Seaton Wetlands Nature Reserve, Axe Valley Wildlife Park and Sidmouth Donkey Sanctuary. If walking is more your thing then lace up your boots and head out for a hike along the 630 mile South West Coastal Path with some captivating views along the way. Pack a picnic for the beach and head to Charmouth, Chesil, West Bay, Branscombe and Weymouth. Meadow Cottage offers guests an idyllic break.
