Photos don't show how close to the farm it us but having the cows for neighbours was fun especially the few that kept peeping over the fence 🙂. Plenty of hot water and a warm property. Plenty of space and bathrooms for a large group. Extra towels being available was most useful. We had an issue with one of the dishwashers but the owner responded promptly to resolve it.

Peaceful, private, and beautifully maintained house. We've been coming for 10 years as a group of friends to write and for walking. Plenty of space and very comfortable. Our cook (yes, we know, we're spoiled) says the kitchen is excellent for catering for a group. We think families and children would love it too and we can't think of anything we'd want to change.

We had another lovely break at Armswell House and despite the very misty weather every day which hid the beautiful views on the walks from the farm, we still had a lovely fun time, enjoying the games room and spa.As we only stayed the 3 nights this time, we stayed in and around the farm, although we walked to the nearby pub one day, even though we had our own well stocked bar in the dining room ! It was really a good idea having a Sainsbury delivery just after we arrived and as the kitchen was really well stocked with every equipment needed, we were able to cook for our group of 14. We loved feeding the 2 pigs our leftovers and peelings and loved the really cute 16 newborn calves in the barn. It was also nice & cosy having the log fire lit in the evenings. We wish we could have stayed longer as our time went far too quickly.Armswell house has something for everyone and for all ages, brilliant that it`s dog friendly too. Really spacious rooms and bathrooms, as we got a bit muddy, its brilliant to have a laundry room too, also 3 fridges and 2 dishwashers which we made good use of.We would love to come back, with more family and friends and hire the house next door too one day.
