Winfrith Newburgh is a traditional village which is ideally situated for discovering the Jurassic Coast and for enjoying the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Along the coast you can explore Lulworth Cove (4 miles), Osmington Mills (7.5 miles) and Ringstead Bay (8 miles). Coastal landmarks nearby include the natural arch at Durdle Door (3 miles) and the remains of Jordan Hill Roman Temple (10 miles). You can also head to the famous Lulworth Castle (6 miles) and the ruins of Corfe Castle (12.5 miles). There are several popular coastal towns to visit including Wareham (9 miles), Weymouth (11 miles) and Swanage (17.5 miles). Heading inland you can visit the market town of Dorchester (9.5 miles).
