Guests generally enjoy the spacious, well-equipped 2 Old Home Farm, praising its comfortable beds, ample wood supply for the fire, and the beautiful Rousdon Estate with private beach access. The property's location is appreciated for its tranquility and proximity to Lyme Regis. While some maintenance issues are noted, the quick response to concerns and the property's charm contribute to a positive experience.
The property is often described as clean and well-presented, though some guests reported issues with rubbish from previous occupants and minor cleanliness oversights. These instances seem to be exceptions rather than the rule.
The location is highly praised for its peacefulness, private beach access, and proximity to nearby towns and attractions. The estate's grounds offer enjoyable walks, contributing to a very positive perception of the location.
Guests find the beds comfortable and the property spacious, with a well-received open fire adding to the comfort. Some concerns about weak showers and a slow-filling cistern slightly detract from the overall comfort.
The property is well-equipped, with a particularly noted large kitchen. However, several maintenance issues such as problematic showers, a blocked sink, and a broken bed have been mentioned, indicating room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.
There is no mention of gifts or special amenities provided by the hosts that would indicate thoughtfulness. Therefore, it is not possible to assess this category based on the reviews provided.

What a beautiful estate. Lots of nice flat walks for my parents and a great adventure for the younger members of the family exploring the pathway to the beach and having swims in the sea. Beautifully furnished and comfy beds for all. Itâs a ten out of ten for us

It is a lovely garden but we couldn't leave the back door open as our naughty 5 year old Shih Tzu could slip through either gate. Maybe some small fencing addition to the gates would keep it safe for smaller dogs. Shower in main bathroom a bit dodgy, very poor flow. Everything else was great. But it is the Rousdon Estate. Lovely setting with interesting buildings. Visited Rousdon twice in four months.
