The local area of Lyme Regis makes a fantastic holiday destination for the whole family, with the Dinosaurland Fossil Museum and local art galleries and craft shops just a short walk away. Enjoy fish and chips in the harbour before taking a stroll along the beach, where Monmouth Beach and Lyme Regis Fossil Beach are the perfect place to hunt for fossils amongst the rocks or take to the water in a kayak. There is also the option of the wonderful Lyme Regis Marine Aquarium, where you can explore the fantastic wildlife thriving along the coast. Further from the town you will find historic sites such as Cannington Viaduct and Blackbury Camp where you will be able to enjoy a stroll through the countryside air.
