I was a little concerned about a couple of comments re maintenance, but the whole property has been recently redecorated throughout and is in excellent condition. All of the rooms are larger than they appear in the photos and there was plenty of space for eight of us, and the level of equipment was impressive. The cottage was warm and cosy, and the beds comfortable. Of course there is a pub opposite, live music on the Friday night and a NYE party, but the noise dies down after 11 and did not worry us. The owners are having some work done in the garden (which we did not use) and hopefully they will upgrade the whole outside space. Just a few comments/suggestions (all minor things) - The front door was sticking (due to the wet weather) and we struggled to open it from the inside on a couple of occaisions - this needs addressing urgently - the locks and key safe could do with replacing also - The TV remote was not working properly and needs replacing As I said all minor things and easy to rectify, but we would absolutely return here. Thanks for a great stay!

Spacious house which was well maintained and very clean in good location close to the beach and the town. Private courtyard with property which we enjoyed using. The kitchen was well equipped. Good instructions with cottage and bonus of a parking spot in the nearby car park. Opposite a pub and you are located in the hub of the town but not overly noisy

There was a timid dog inside, which could have runaway. The reason she was there a day early was because on your website, it states bookings are for one week. However, it appears that you had only booked us for six nights! Do you even offer that as an option? Even if I had made an error in this, why did no one get in touch to check? Very poor service. The house was okay, although there was no booklet of instructions for oven bins etc. Again, annoying. There was a broken blind and a light bulb in the down stairs bedroom, and the garden was a bit of a mess. To add insult to injury you actually charged me an extra £260 for one night, although one nice gentleman said it would be £20. I am shocked to have to pay that much as you don’t rent out your cottages for one night only, so you would not have been renting it out on Thursday anyway! This is disgraceful profiteering, and I think a compromise could I have been reached. I am asking you to reconsider and refund me the £260, less the £20 I was told. Your current good name will not last if you treat your guests so harshly, Your sincerely, Stephanie Groves
