Situated within the historic seaside resort of Lyme Regis, famous for its geology and fossils, you are within walking distance of a wonderful selection of pubs, restaurants, cafes, galleries and boutique shops. A day or two at the nearby beach is a must or stroll along the seafront promenade to the historic harbour known as The Cobb, where you can watch the bright boats bobbing and local fishermen going about their daily business.
Often dubbed as the Pearl of Dorset, this seaside town is steeped in history stretching back to the 8th century. Explore all the region offers including many quaint towns and villages which are within easy reach, as well as fossil rich beaches, coastal walks or cycle routes to be enjoyed through spectacular countryside. A wonderful location for your staycation. Enter the main part of the house into the well equipped kitchen which comes complete with an electric double oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. Head into the dining room, a wonderful space for the whole group and gather around the extendable dining table, with ample seating for everyone.
The cosy lounge can be found beyond and features a wall mounted Smart TV and DVD player, the ideal spot to relax and catch up on your favourite box set. Head up to the first floor where you will find three of the five bedrooms, a double room with wonderful views over the garden and two cosy twin bedrooms. Completing this floor is the shower room with shower and WC. A separate entrance, with no steps, leads into the adjoining annexe which is on one level and comes with a double bedroom, en suite shower room with a shower and WC and benefits with an additional lounge area with Smart TV and seating for two.
Head up to the top of the garden where a chalet bedroom can be found, complete with a double bed and en suite WC. The spacious multi level garden is fully enclosed and is a wonderful setting for all the family to enjoy. Stepping outside from the property will bring you firstly to a small lawn area and a patio which has been furnished with a table, chairs and charcoal BBQ, making it the perfect setting for al fresco meals and drinks. Steps lead up to further levels of the garden with areas of lawn, mature shrubs and further seating areas.
There is a small covered pond and changes in level and unfenced drops throughout the garden, care is to be taken with children. There is off road parking for up to 3 cars 2 cars and 1 small car. Need to know: Sleeps 8 2. 5 bedrooms 1 double and 2 twins with 2'6'' beds in the main house; 1 double in the annexe; 1 chalet double bedroom in the garden all beds have under bed storage. 2 shower rooms 1 shower room with shower and WC in the main house; 1 en suite shower room with shower and WC in the annexe; 1 en suite WC for the chalet double.
