Guests say

Guests have praised 'Hove To' for its cleanliness, spacious living areas, and convenient location close to the beach and town. The property is well-equipped, with a special mention for the comfortable beds and the welcome hamper. Some concerns were raised about parking limitations and minor maintenance issues, but these did not detract significantly from the overall positive experience.

The property consistently receives high marks for cleanliness, with guests noting it as very clean upon arrival.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to the beach and town centre, making it a convenient choice for visitors.

The property is generally considered comfortable, especially the beds, although there are some remarks about the suitability of the twin beds for adults and one guest's personal discomfort due to a medical condition.

Facilities are well-regarded, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen and good amenities. However, points are deducted for reported maintenance issues such as leaks and Wi-Fi problems.

Guests appreciate the welcome hamper, indicating thoughtfulness. However, as gifts are not consistently mentioned and their provision is not guaranteed, this score reflects the positive sentiment without setting an expectation.

We all had a fabulous time!

A couple of minutes walk to the main town and although on a main road there wasn’t any noticeable traffic noise, just noisy seagulls! The house was spotlessly clean and lovely and warm all day long, just what we needed for our wet Feb holiday. Plenty of hot water for six adults too. Parking was the only drawback. You can only park one car around the corner, away from the house. If you have more cars (we had three in total), they have to be parked in the long stay car park at the top of a hill at about £10 a day. I noticed other holiday cottage lets offer a parking permit - a house for six is likely to have more than one car!

Having easy access to park our EV and charge it was also a great bonus, especially given the observation that Parking in Lyme Regus can be tricky at the best of times. We also, for those brave enough and willing, recommend the 6.5 mile undercliff walk to Seaton. The starting point is the costal path between bowling club and boat building car park ... follow it up and into the closest that the UK has to a rainforest.
