Guests say

Hove To in Lyme Regis is a well-received cottage with guests praising its cleanliness, spacious living areas, and convenient location close to the beach and town. The property is equipped with a range of kitchen facilities and offers a comfortable stay, though some guests noted issues with parking and minor maintenance concerns.

Guests consistently mentioned that the property was very clean, indicating high standards of cleanliness throughout the cottage.

The location is highly praised for being close to the beach and town centre, making it convenient for guests. However, parking challenges slightly affected the score.

The property is described as comfortable and warm, with comfy beds and enough space for guests. Some guests found the beds narrow and one mentioned a hard mattress, which slightly impacted the comfort score.

Facilities like the kitchen and washing machine are appreciated, but several maintenance issues such as leaks, WiFi problems, and appliance malfunctions have been reported, leading to a lower score.

While some guests appreciated welcome gifts and a generous welcome pack, there is not enough information to assess the consistency of thoughtfulness across all stays, so the score is set to null. It should be noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and not guaranteed.

1.We couldn't turn on the oven. A maintenence man (Andy) came and found the well hidden fuse trip box. 2. The knows on the cooker we're broken so when it was on it was at the wrong temperature, so burnt food. Andy came back and took 2 of the 3 knobs. 3. The lock on the downstairs loo didn't work resulting in some multi generational embarrassment. We told Andy. 4. The washing machine door jammed which we opened using string (not damaged ) to get our clothes out. 5. The smoke alarm went off on our last night. It was unreachable even when my 6 foot son stood on a table. Mia from the local office came at 1am. Alarm smashed off and removed. We asked Mia if we could have a later leave time which she did arrange but told us about it at 10.20ish am, after we had all left at 10am. 7. It's really cold when the wind blows, which is why you have fan heaters I imagine, but you could use extra blankets. 8. Please put some hooks on back of bedroom doors, and provide more than 1 tea towel fir a week. It's a good cottage for our annual Lyme holiday of 4 generations, but all the issues were not good. Lyme Bay responded well.

Well equipped and ideal for a large family. Christmas tree and decorations as well as a lovely welcome pack were much appreciated by the family. We loved our stay in Hove To and hope to book again.

It has everything we need. The owners provide a very generous welcome pack on arrival. The best we have come across! The beds are very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting in the conservatory, it is very cosy.
