Great location in Lyme Regis, very well equipped and thought out. The owners even provide a cosy bed for the dog which ours very much appreciated. Easy to walk into town along the river straight to the micro brewery, very handy! Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to visit Dorset as there are so many place to visit on the gorgeous Jurassic coast.

It was located in a very quiet area, with views over the town. Everything inside is pristine and spotless. I have never visited a holiday home that is so well equipped. It is difficult to think of anything that we may have needed. There are lots of great bars, pubs and restaurants in the town. We had some great meals. The local beer, Palmers, is very good if thatâs your thing! We even went to a concert at the Marine Theatre. It was a very relaxing and comfortable week. As others have noted, the walk back up is steep. We used Eco Cabs, the number is in the binder, who were very reasonable and efficient. We will be back!

To be fair, we had the most perfect weather imaginable but it was topped off by staying in this lovely apartment. The owners have clearly made an effort to make you feel welcome. The bottle of wine was a lovely touch. The apartment itself is beautifully appointed. It's been newly refurbished and had everything we needed for ourselves, our two boys and our dog. It is a good 10-15 minute walk to town and 20 minutes right to the beach although we weren't hurrying so you could probably do it more quickly. As other reviews have said, the walk back is very much uphill but it's Lyme Regis - you expect a few hills! Best route is down the path to the side of the property and then a lovely walk along the river into town. The next time we're planning to come this way, we'll definitely look to stay at Lyme Zest again.
