The Cabin in Lyme Regis is highly praised for its stunning views, welcoming hosts, and prime location. Guests appreciate the comfortable beds, the privacy of the decked patio, and the thoughtful welcome packs. While some mention minor issues with maintenance and limited kitchen facilities, the overall experience is one of relaxation and enjoyment.
Most guests found The Cabin to be clean and comfortable. A few noted areas that could have been swept more thoroughly or had some grubby spots, but these seem to be exceptions rather than the rule.
The location is consistently lauded for its beautiful views, proximity to the town and seafront, and the added bonus of a nearby restaurant. The steep access is noted, but the setting is generally considered exceptional.
Comfort is well-regarded with mentions of a comfortable bed and shower. Some guests found the mattress too soft and the fridge size limited, but overall, the comfort level is high.
Facilities are adequate, with some guests suggesting improvements such as a larger fridge and better cooking amenities. The decking and some maintenance issues were pointed out, indicating room for improvement.
Guests often mention the welcome pack, which adds a personal touch to their stay. While this is a positive aspect, it's important to note that such amenities may vary and are not guaranteed.

On arrival, Carl (the owner) greeted us and made us feel welcome. Whilst the cabin is within the town It has an isolated feel with a good amount of privacy and provides a quiet, peaceful location. Access to the cabin is via steps and the walks are generally hilly but nothing too strenuous. There are outstanding views across the bay with pleasant short walks through gardens to the town, seafront and harbour amenities.

Very comfortable chalet with many lovely features, particularly liked the soft towels, welcome pack and very powerful binoculars to watch all the activity around the Cobb. Agreeing with previous guests that the fridge is rather small and a cupboard for food stuffs would be handy. Steep access would make it a difficult location for anyone with mobility issues. Extremely friendly and helpful hosts helped to make our stay very enjoyable.
