We liked Lyme Regis so much last year that we decided to come back and we chose Yonder View again rather than taking a chance on somewhere different. Yonder View is absolutely fine for a short stay but I foolishly omitted to bring some games with me. The weather this year was poor, unlike last year which was superb, and we had to spend time in the house when it rained. Rain tends to spoil things and traps people indoors. I regretted not bringing Scrabble, chess, draughts and a pack of cards. All there is in Yonder View is jigsaw puzzles and dominoes ! These were of no interest to us and perhaps Nigel and Karen might consider buying some of these pastimes. Otherwise, we enjoyed our week.

The cottage was spacious and provided all we needed. The addition of a dishwasher and perhaps an air fryer would make it perfect. We found the recycling bins a bit confusing as their colours had faded and Dorset's re-cycling is more inclusive than Hampshire's. Maybe a numbering system would make it easier to ensure the accuracy of the recycling. We coudn't locate a blue plastic bag for the used laundry so stripped the beds and folded the used items at the foot of each bed. We met the owner who had provided a lovely welcome pack as well as a gorgeous fresh flower posey to make us feel at home. We hope that we will be lucky enough to make a return visit to Yonder View and have no hesitation in recommending this delightful cottage to other holiday makers. We have lots of fond memories!
