Located in Mangerton near Bridport, Elderwood Retreat is perfectly placed for exploring Dorset’s Jurassic Coast, including Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove, Chesil Beach and Lyme Regis. Guests can dine at Hix Oyster and Fish House overlooking The Cobb and Lyme Bay, enjoy delicious seafood and wine at the Hive Beach Café on Chesil Beach or visit Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall’s famous River Cottage headquarters for cookery courses and exceptional menus. Bridport, the gateway to the Jurassic Coast and West Bay, is a lively cultural market town known for its antiques quarter, bustling markets, rope-making heritage, arts scene and excellent food.
