Set amidst 250 acres on the owner’s dairy farm, attached to the owner’s property, this modern farmhouse has been constructed and furnished to a good standard and has the benefit of panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Being two miles from Sherborne it is well located for holidays exploring this beautiful county with its magnificent scenery and ancient village names, whilst the dramatic coastline around Lulworth Cove and the renowned beaches at Weymouth are an easy drive. Georgian Heritage City of Bath is within an hour’s drive or enjoy a day out at Longleat where TVs ’Animal Park’ is set. Mainline train from London to Sherborne, 2 miles away, lake fishing within a mile, horse riding and a 9-hole golf course 31/2 miles. Village, shops and pub within easy walking distance.

    Beautiful, spacious cottage with a great layout and clean. Had a lot of amenities already in the house. Three generations of family had a lovely stay. Beautiful views of the farm from all windows and was lovely to see the cows. We needed to adjust the heating in the house and the host came over immediately to help. It does have creaky floorboards and doors that do not close properly, however the use of the door stops were fine. Internet acces is also very slow and patchy at times.

    Absolutely stunning place. specially the place is in middle of the farm. early morning views are beautiful with cows. top notch. only disappointment is we tried to get in touch with the landlord couple of times. we called and texted them but never got reply from them.

    Lovely place, cosy and perfect for getting together with loved ones. It had everything we needed kitchen wise & had fresh towels & bedding for all the rooms. In a great location for a walk into the village, with a lovely pub, chippy, supermarket & restaurant. Only downside was the early check out time of 9.30am - was quite a tight turnaround having to strip all the beds as requested & do a final tidy so early in the morning.
