We visited this lovely unique house last week and the location is simply fabulous ! We had a small issue which meant we had to get in touch with the owners who were absolutely fantastic and very proactive and kind.Great outdoor space but I think the back garden could do with a spruce up as it is such a great space. Steep stairs to the second floor so do be careful if you have mobility issues.

The property was unloved, poorly cleaned the photos are clearly historical. There are no door catches on any of the bedroom doors. The parasol in the rear garden had fallen over and snapped when we arrived which we reported to the owners but received no response. Many of the serving dishes and saucepans were not very well cleaned and had to be washed before we could use them. We adhered to the instruction not to move any furniture but would point out that anyone sitting on the side of the dining table with their back to the sofa was in danger of banging their head on the light fitting that seem to have been place to sit over the middle of the table had it been located nearer to the sofa. The single room bed slats allowed the mattress to fall through in the middle of the night. The king size bed mattress was lumpy. There were no oven gloves to remove hot dishes from the oven and only one tea towel for a weeks stay.
