It is in a great location to explore Portland with its museums, Henry viii’s castle, National Sailing Academy and other attractions. Enjoy excellent coastal walking, fishing, swimming, sailing or boating in Weymouth Bay. On your doorstep is the scenic Dorset coast, stretching either side of the Georgian seaside resort of Weymouth, on your west to Abbotsbury, West Bay, Bridport and Lyme Regis and to the east Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove. Beach 1 mile. Shop 1¼ miles, restaurant and pub 400 yards.

Our second great stay in this property. Peter the host was friendly and helpful, and we loved being able to sit on the patio of the beautiful garden. My wife has mobility issues and we appreciate finding such a great property all on one level, the optional shower stool came in handy too.The area is very quiet and scenic, with great options for eating out such as our favorite the Crab Cafe. We would not hesitate to on booking this property again.

Good week long break , cottage perfect for our needs, very well equipped, immaculately clean set in beautiful south facing gardens to the rear and sea views to the front with good outside space to enjoy this facility . Peter was a most helpful , knowledgable host and nothing was too much trouble . Would recommend this venue to any couple wanting a quiet and hassle free break . John & Sue

Lovely clean, quiet, well equipped & comfortable accommodation with views out to sea at the front & a huge well kept garden at the rear which is shared with the owner who lives in the adjoining property. The property is kept warm with a modern central heating system which also supplies hot water for the fantastic shower, it has good WiFi, a modern good sized tv with a good freeview signal, a comfy king sized bed & easy on-site parking. The owner is a lovely friendly helpful gentleman but not at all intrusive. We had a great week here & won’t hesitate to go back if going that way again.
