Accommodate up to six guests in three bedrooms, situated on the first and second floors, Lobster Cottage is perfect for a family or group of friend’s holiday. The second-floor double bedroom is an en-suite shower room with basin and WC.

Brewers Quay is home to numerous restaurants, coffee houses and pubs, perfect for eating alfresco freshly caught sea food or provincially brewed beer. On the edge of town is the award winning blue flag sandy main beach with its shallow bathing waters.

The South West Coast Path makes the perfect walk around the Isle of Portland, if you enjoy discovering places on foot, make sure to take ramble along the beautiful Fleet Nature Reserve until you reach gorgeous village of Abbotsbury. Take a challenging walk towards Lulworth Cove with glorious Dorset countryside on your left and rolling cliffs leading the way. You will reach beautiful arc of Durdle Door, Man O’ War bay and Oswald bay where you can easily spend the day when you can catch the bus back.

Lobster cottage is a beautiful holiday home for friends or family whether you want to just laze on the beach or explore everything Dorset has to offer.

This thriving area called Brewers Quay is the old Victorian brewery situated right at the very heart of the harbour, in Weymouth, Dorset. Much of the grade II listed complex and surrounding brewery buildings date from the late 1800 early 1900’s and many have stones inlaid commemorating their construction year. Now a popular destination with many restaurant’s café and bars making it a vibrant location where you can relax with a drink and watch the world go by. Tucked in the harbourside streets here you will find original Tudor harbour buildings estimated to have built 1600 and well worth a visit, with a very interesting history to share. You will also find the Weymouth Museum, with some incredible facts and artefacts, there is more to this seaside town than meets the eye. The harbour is home to the lifting bridge where you can watch the luxury yachts head out to sea, and then walk over the bridge into the town with it’s winding streets of boutique shops and onto the seafront Esplanade and beach. Brewers Quay is a much loved location in Weymouth.

Has everything you need.I love it around the quay area.was great having the car park space instead of paying for parking and walking up and down to car park.dishwasher was playing up when we got there but luckily someone else had reported it and a new dishwasher was installed while we were there.great service.

We would’ve liked two sets of keys rather than just the one as we had to put it back in the key safe Every time we went out separately.. The Twin bedroom was very noisy when they turned the extractor fans on for the restaurant just behind the property, and this should be stated in the details. We had a very hot week but couldn’t leave the windows open at night. Due to the noise of the bottle bins being emptied from the local restaurants., it would’ve been nice to have had a fan. No matter how I tried I couldn’t stop the floor from being covered with water every time I showered using the shower over the bath, I’m not sure what can be done about this, but I have to mop the floor every time I had a shower. Although these are concerns I had I would definitely book here again on our next visit to Weymouth. The location for us was perfect and to have a parking space was an added bonus.

Staying right in the harbour and a short walk into town was perfect and with so many restaurants, pubs, shops and other facilities on the doorstep, we were able to really enjoy what Weymouth had to office. The property itself was clean and homely and arriving to a nice welcome hamper and guide to the property and surrounding area was perfect. The kitchen and cosy space in the garden allowed us to have some lovely breakfasts indoors and outdoors to build us up for our days out. Then returning in the afternoon or evening, we were able to relax and talk through our days in the living room or relaxing on the beds. It was really nice thank you.
