Bay Cottage in Weymouth is praised for its stylish, spacious interiors and modern amenities. Guests appreciate the sea views, cleanliness, and well-equipped kitchen. The location is ideal, close to the harbour and attractions, though parking can be tricky. Comfort is noted with ample space for large groups, though some found the pillows too soft. The property's facilities are highly regarded, but there were minor issues with maintenance and a lack of basic supplies. No mention of gifts was made.
Guests consistently note the property's cleanliness, describing it as 'very clean' and 'well presented'. This suggests a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property.
The location is frequently highlighted as 'really good' and 'ideal', with proximity to the harbour, town centre, and beach. The steep hill may challenge some, but the central location is a clear positive.
The property is described as comfortable with 'very comfy beds', though there were comments about the softness of the pillows and the challenge of sharing bathrooms among a large group.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with a 'well-equipped' kitchen and ample space. However, points are deducted for the non-working dishwasher and lack of basics like tin foil and sufficient toilet rolls.
There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts, so it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

Kitchen had plenty of utensils and crockery but none of the basics such as tin foil, which are really helpful for a short stay and bathrooms rather light on toilet rolls Garden space was useful too but a 4th chair would have helped. Dining Rea great and lounge cosy - was big enough for us but too small if the house is full. Despite these comments, liked it and would book again if in the Weymouth area. No pa

Views over the town and out to see were stunning and there were great pubs and places to eat very close by around the harbour. The house itself was real quality with great furnishings and decor. Very comfy beds too... very important. Would certainly stay there again.

The house had everything we needed, and is probably one of the best equipped I have been to. The kitchen had so many pots, pans, crockery, utensils and other equipment, which made it so much easier to eat in and cater for our party of 9. We also had to be a bit regimented with using the bathrooms, as 9 of us using 2 bathrooms was always going to be a challenge, but we managed. It's a shame that the large front bedroom hasn't got a small en suite bathroom, but perhaps that is something which could be thought about in the future. Our bed was very comfortable, and everyone else seemed to be happy with their's too. The only downside for was the pillows, which are great quality, but were much too soft for me my husband and some others in our party. There was lots of storage for all of our clothes, and the washer/dryer was a bonus, which meant we managed to take most things back home clean. We knew that on street parking would be awkward, due to being on a street of old houses which weren't originally built with cars in mind. But, once we'd dropped everything off, the car park near the harbour was close enough to use, and always had lots of space. The location is perfect for Nothe Fort, the harbour, the town centre, the beach and so much more. Although, anyone with health issues might struggle with the steep hill or steps back to the property. We still managed, even though our party was aged from 7 to 70, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The outside space was fine to sit out on, but the unused space behind that would be ideal if developed more to include maybe another building to sit in seperate from the main house or have as a games room or tv room. All in all, we had a wonderful holiday, in a great location, with use of an incredibly equipped house.
