The cosy air-conditioned living room features a log burner, large TV and electric reclining sofas, ideal for relaxing evenings. On the ground floor, you’ll find three beautifully appointed bedrooms: a king-size, a super king-size with an en-suite shower room, and a twin room. A separate bathroom boasts a jacuzzi bath with shower.
Upstairs, a second living room leads into a beautiful double bedroom with velux cabrio windows that open to form a spectacular balcony overlooking the garden and patio. A fifth double bedroom and an additional shower room provide extra comfort and privacy. Outside, a large patio with a 6 person hot tub and steps leading to a lawned garden offer the perfect space to unwind and enjoy the fresh Gloucestershire air. Amaranth in Shurdington is an absolutely beautiful cottage and the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. The house is exceptionally well equipped with everything you could possibly need, and it was spotless on arrival—clearly very well cared for.We had the best weekend here, making some truly special memories. The setting is peaceful and the property itself feels both comfortable and thoughtfully put together.Both the owner and the property manager were fantastic—very responsive and happy to answer any questions I had. In truth, everything was already clearly covered in the house information, so my questions were just me being a bit overly particular!I wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend Amaranth to anyone looking for a lovely, stress-free stay.

A lovely few days here with family. 5 adults and 2 children (10 & 7).A modern property in a very peaceful and private location. Pretty much everything you could want in decor, furnishings and equipment, and a lovely welcome pack.Beds comfortable, 3 toilets and showers and a wonderful hot tub that was enjoyed everyday by all. We especially enjoyed the night sky views with stars and saw several satellite's too. The visiting wildlife, mainly bunnies and pheasants were cute but a small deer (muntjac?) was seen early morning and our son also caught this on his night camera on another occasion along with a badger.The property is accessible downstairs with wooden floors, bedroom and toilet facilities. Although the drive (lots of parking) is gravel, there is a large paved threshold/porch area at the front door and access to the rear patio and hot tub is on the level. (steps to get in hot tub and up to sloped grass area).The local farm shop was good for the usual produce including fresh veg and a 24/7 vending machine for milk, shakes, snacks and coffee.Although peaceful it was easy to get to the main road for access to Cheltenham, Gloucester and further afield.The property agent was easily contactable before and after arrival for a couple of queries with very quick responses, which was much appreciated.
