We all had a great time at Delcroft. There were 8 adults and 2 small dogs there to celebrate my "big birthday" and Mel was so helpful at allowing my daughter and cousin earlier access to decorate with balloons and banners, which was a lovely surprise I hadn't expected. The table was also set perfectly ready for dinner. Delcroft is a home from home. Everything we needed was there. It is beautifully decorated, comfortable and large enough for all of us. The garden was fabulous although we didn't get time to sit out, which we could have done as it was great weather for February! The local pub in the village, The Hearts of Oak, was very welcoming. The chip shop across the road from the pub really does serve enormous portions as stated in the guide. Symonds Yat is not too far by car and definitely worth a visit. I recommend Sunday lunch at the Saracens Head Inn by the river, but you do need to book. Overall, a fantastic long weekend was had by all.

We spent a lovely Christmas at Delcroft. Mel and Nigel were very welcoming and accommodating, and we greatly appreciated the welcome package. The house was beautifully decorated and there was plenty of room for us all, including dogs. The kitchen was very well equipped for cooking a full Christmas dinner for 9. The bedrooms were spacious and we enjoyed the jacuzzi baths. We would highly recommend this property.
