Guests consistently praise the beautiful location, spacious and comfortable interiors, and the popular hot tub. The property is well-equipped for outdoor enjoyment, with lovely grounds and wildlife. Most guests found the property clean and comfortable, though there was one instance of an unclean arrival which was promptly addressed by the owners.

The peaceful, private setting and proximity to local attractions are highly praised, though the steep and uneven driveway is mentioned as a challenge.

Guests describe the cottage as spacious, cosy, and restful, with comfortable beds and effective window shutters. Some noted the lack of an upstairs toilet and steep stairs as minor drawbacks.

The hot tub, outdoor seating, and BBQ area are highlights. Some maintenance issues, such as the wet room drainage and missing kitchen fittings, were mentioned but did not detract significantly from the overall experience.

Overall a lovely stay. The real positives were the location, peace and quiet and the wildlife. The local bakery and closeness to Forest of Dean was superb. Also being 30 mins from Cheltenham was amazing as some lovely places to eat. I do think it needs to be made aware about the driveway to the property. There was a big pothole all week (which the weather has obviously washed out) with a cone in which made it more difficult to get up and it was steep. It could have been filled quite easily. Another disappointment was that there were no blinds or curtains on the windows downstairs which we some could find unsettling at nighttime. The kitchen was also missing a door and doors were very uneven and the handless rail system was missing. Would not take a lot to fix. Finally there were no logs which the description said there would be. There was only painted mdf and treated feather edge board which are not really supposed to burn. Regardless thank you for letting us stay here as we massively enjoyed our time.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here for our honeymoon. The house and surrounding area are beautiful and so peaceful, we weren't disturbed at all, apart from by a few deer which we absolutely weren't complaining about! The hosts were so welcoming as well and even left us a wedding card and a lovely bottle of wine which was a lovely surprise!
