Briars was a very cute and comfortable cottage. We used the outside area which was small but got the afternoon sun😁😁It was a perfect size for a couple. The local shop was a real bonus! Very friendly and well stocked. It was very well located for various visits. The owner was very helpful. Keep up the good work!!

We enjoyed staying in Lydbrook, the cottage was nicely decorated, warm and peaceful, with parking along the road to the front. The nearby local shop was well-stocked.Unfortunately, there's only goose feather/down pillows, duvets and cushions throughout. The owner said he'll now mention this in the property details, and offered to pay for two synthetic pillows. Perhaps Cottages.com could add a bedding filling category?A pan scrub sponge would help guests with washing-up.

Absolutely loved my stay at the briars. Great location for excellent walks into the forest of dean. Good amenities nearby and the cottage itself was truly excellent. Will definitely try and return at some point. Highly recommend for anyone who loves the outdoors. Thank you.
