Fabulous, cheery, and spotlessly clean little cabin, a real gem! Beautiful views across the hillsides, with cute little chicken & duck pens adjacent. Very well laid out space inside, with lots of cute little thoughtful touches such as hot drinks assortments, home made jam (delicious!), and eggs from the chickens… also doggy items such as blanket, towel, poo bags, and a few biscuits which went down well with our furry friend! A great base to go exploring from too. We visited the Forest of Dean Sculpture Trail, Soudley Ponds, Ross-on-Wye, and Symonds Yat Rock/Viewpoint over a few days, and had numerous lovely shady forest walks - it was great to be able to stay out of the heat. We would definitely return, both to the area and to this cabin, there is such a lot more to explore locally, and when the heat beat us and we just wanted to rest the cabin was marvellous with its highly efficient air conditioning unit! Top marks all round, we loved it and could go on more! Lovely peaceful relaxing break, we had a proper ‘reset’. Thank you to the lovely owners who obviously put a lot into such a lovely place ☺️

The cabin was lovely! Very secure, warm and comfortable furniture! The bed was a little short for my partner, although it was still comfortable. The view from the cabin was gorgeous, there was wildlife and farm animals everywhere you looked. The sunrise in the mornings was beautiful. The local town was lovely although not much there. The Lamb Inn was a nice little pub for both food and drinks as well.

Beautiful, peaceful spot. The cabin itself is immaculate and had everything we needed [And more]. Ideal base for exploring the local area which has so much to offer within a half hour drive. In 4 days we visited Tewksbury, Gloucester, Monmouth, Chepstow, Tintern Abbey and more. Lovely to get back each evening, sit out and look across the valley while watching our resident ducks and chickens. A perfect Break!
