Lovely, quiet location. Old property with character. Short drive to centre of town (we didn't walk it, but is very doable). Recommend the local pizzeria! House is rustic. If you're looking for a modern property, this is not for you, like others said there's some thread born rugs and bathrooms could use an update (unless you like pink suites!). Overall lovely place and I'd stay again. Thanks

Fantastic old farmhouse, had a brilliant stay, has what you need. As previous reviews this house is in need of some TLC, furniture, carpets need replacing. The photos are very old, looks different, fully grown wisteria on the front of the house.

Lovely old building with lots of charm and character. Warm, cozy and masses of space. Amazing original architecture with old oak doors, massive fireplace. Period features galore. Parking for three vehicles and more. Easy to find and no problem with access etc. A few things that need to be addressed by the owner to make it perfect. Bedroom above the kitchen needs the flooring sorted. Noisy and some boards are loose under the rugs. Not dangerous, but needs to be done. Furniture needs to be replaced. All the mattresses are starting to show their age and could do with being replaced. Same with the sofas in the lounge. Old and worn out. Get some new ones. Chairs at the long dining table in the conservatory need to be replaced they are a bit wonky. The family bathroom at the top of the stairs needs a makeover. Very 1970s dusky pink. General upkeep needs some TLC. The paintwork and carpets are looking a bit shabby in places. In summary this is beautiful house in a great location. Very cozy, very quiet, very safe. It needs around £12000 spent to update the furniture and carpets... Then it would be near perfect. I would recommend this accommodation whole heartedly and would have no hesitation in booking again. We were a family group of 4 kids and 6 adults and it fitted our needs perfectly.
