We absolutely loved our stay in the gorgeous farmhouse - it was full of personality, well-equipped, so welcoming and in a gorgeous rural setting yet only a short drive to the shops. Kids loved being in the garden, the pool and, even with the occasional rainy spell, we found it spacious and homely. Unfortunately we had some wasps and bees getting into the kitchen but it was dealt with in a couple of hours and thankfully no stings. We needed to watch young kids carefully around a very low wall overlooking a road - this could do with sturdy fencing. Be aware that the twin room does need to be walked through for access to a family room and bathroom and the other family room shared a wall with the boiler and was very hot as a result. We were surprised to also learn that the pool was on a shared rota and had hoped that this would be made more explicit in the advert, however, having said that, we worked around it and made the most of our time we got. It was heated to the perfect temperature and everyone enjoyed their time in it. This house fit 9 of us comfortably and despite a few things we had to adjust to, we still had a really special holiday away. The house has a really homely rural feel and was well located for days out too.

Beautiful, peaceful location with sufficient parking. The swimming pool was delightful. The tennis court needs resurfacing. There was insufficient detail provided about the poor condition of the floor surfaces throughout the house which were especially challenging for toddlers and older adults alike. Both bathrooms were upstairs which added to the environmental difficulty.
