The property is in need of a bit of repair. However, this fact was reflected in the reasonable price paid. We did not pay extra for the use of the pool and tennis court.This is an 8 person (4 rooms) property. We were 6 adults and the property was probably more suitable for less adults but with children. A couple of the bedrooms were a little small with two adults in one room trying to find space to keep clothes as storage was very limited.Having said that, the cottage has much character. The downstairs area is sufficiently spacious with a comfortable open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area which suited us well. as a result we had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday.

Had a fantastic ladies knitting weekend. Cottage was perfect and the owner was extremely helpful and approachable.Don't be put off by negative reviews. Yes, it's a bit worn and could do with a bit of updating/tlc, but it is a lovely, old, charming cottage in beautiful surroundings. It's clean and has everything you need for your stay.We will definitely be coming back.

This cottage is in a great position for a walking group like us, with footpaths starting at the end drive.The cottage is a bit tired in places particularly the bathroom but all still functional. The bedroom curtains are light so perhaps bring a sleep mask if you are used to a darker bedroom.The owner phoned prior and was very helpful.We will return as it really worked for us. Being able to walk into Town at night without going on the road was another bonus
