Guests say

The Lodge is a charming, peaceful retreat praised for its dog-friendly features, including a secure paddock and patio. Guests consistently highlight the warm welcome from the host, John, and the well-equipped, comfortable accommodation. The location is tranquil yet conveniently close to local towns and amenities, making it ideal for relaxation and exploring the area. While most guests found the facilities excellent, a few noted sporadic WiFi and occasional maintenance issues. Overall, the property is highly recommended for those seeking a quiet countryside escape, especially with dogs.

Multiple reviews mention the property as very clean and well-kept, with no negative comments regarding cleanliness.

Guests appreciate the peaceful, secluded setting with easy access to local towns, shops, and attractions. The only minor drawback noted is the narrow access road.

The Lodge is described as cosy, comfortable, and well-appointed, with comfortable furniture and a relaxing atmosphere. Only one review mentions compactness, but overall comfort is highly praised.

Facilities such as the secure paddock, patio, and well-equipped kitchen are frequently praised. However, some guests experienced sporadic WiFi and a non-working shower, which slightly lowers the score.

Guests often mention thoughtful touches such as tea, coffee, milk, fresh orange juice, and eggs on arrival. While these gestures are appreciated, please note that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.
