The sleeping accommodation includes two bedrooms, comprising a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, arranged to suit a range of guest groups. These are served by a bathroom fitted with a bath and shower over, completing the internal layout. Outside, guests can enjoy the garden with lawn and furniture, offering space to dine outdoors and spend time surrounded by greenery. The nearest pub is a 20-30 minute walk away, while shops are within easy reach by car. Whitminster is a rural countryside village resting between Eastington and Stonehouse. The village is known for its canal-side setting near the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal and offers a small but useful range of local amenities including a village pub and community facilities. Dining options include local pubs and eateries within the village and nearby settlements, while you can stock up on essentials at supermarkets and convenience stores in Stonehouse. Just outside the village is the market town of Stonehouse, where you can find further attractions and amenities such as independent shops, cafés, larger supermarkets, and a mainline railway station with direct services to Gloucester and Bristol. For outdoor enthusiasts, the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal towpath runs close by, providing level walking and cycling routes through the surrounding countryside, while the Severn Estuary and Cotswold escarpment are within easy reach for broader days out.

Note: As this is a working, rural estate, occasionally some shooting is carried out on it by licensed individuals, an effort is made to do this away from guests whilst they are staying but it might be in the vicinity of the properties at times.
Note: Cot and high chair is available on request - however there is a limited supply, so if either are needed please ensure that you let the owner know in good time before your holiday.
Note: a welcome amount of the estate’s firewood is provided, additional is sold by the venue at £5/bag subject to availability.
