Second double bedroom is on the first floor along with the shower room with walk‑in shower.

Outside, guests can enjoy a garden with lawn and furniture, providing space to sit out and enjoy the fresh air. The nearest pub is a 20-30 minute walk away, while shops are within easy reach by car, the surrounding area offers plenty to explore, with days out to Gloucester, Cheltenham, and Dursley, alongside attractions such as the Cotswold Way, Slimbridge Wetland Centre, and scenic walking routes through the Gloucestershire countryside. Whitminster is a rural countryside village resting between Eastington and Stonehouse. The village is known for its canal-side setting near the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal and offers a small but useful range of local amenities including a village pub and community facilities. Dining options include local pubs and eateries within the village and nearby settlements, while you can stock up on essentials at supermarkets and convenience stores in Stonehouse. Just outside the village is the market town of Stonehouse, where you can find further attractions and amenities such as independent shops, cafés, larger supermarkets, and a mainline railway station with direct services to Gloucester and Bristol. For outdoor enthusiasts, the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal towpath runs close by, providing level walking and cycling routes through the surrounding countryside, while the Severn Estuary and Cotswold escarpment are within easy reach for broader days out.

Note: There external cctv around the estate for security purposes.

Note: There is a river by the West Wing group of properties, this is mostly fenced off but please ensure children as supervised at all times.

Note: As this is a working, rural estate, occasionally some shooting is carried out on it by licensed individuals, an effort is made to do this away from guests whilst they are staying but it might be in the vicinity of the properties at times.

Note: Cot and high chair is available on request - however there is a limited supply, so if either are needed please ensure that you let the owner know in good time before your holiday.

Note: Some outdoor photographs show a private garden which is not included in standard stays but does form part of the view from the West Wing.

This area is also sometimes available for event hire.

Note: Dogs
– must be well behaved and kept under close control, gardens are not ‘dog proof’ and not allowed in bedrooms or on furniture.

Sorry no other pets accepted.

Note: The ‘Party Room’ (the large green room pictured) is only included when the Old Stables is booked with the West Wing and The Harness Rooms Properties together.
